Plutonic Group Syncs :: What I Say by Dextric

What I Say

Dextric – the phenomenal electronic duo released two fun cuts making up the maxi-single, starting with ‘What I Say’, a fun and playful electro-pop piece.

A funky, soulful, and complex track where Joe Goddard’s touch is well noticed…

What I Say’, is a lithe and elastic bit of fresh vocal house. A crystal clear and emotive vocal sits front and centre. Bouncing beats and explosive synths dart and dance all around. A killer one finger bassline rides up and down the scale, thus adding weight and depth.

This one is sure to become something of an anthem at gigs everywhere!

The two East London producers have immediacy in their songwriting and production quality. So much so, they caught the ear of Joe Goddard (of Hot Chip & The 2 Bears fame), who produced this, their debut single.

Prolific and self-sufficient, Fitz-Gibbon and Jordan created music from their bedroom and subsequently released it on their own label!

Dextric is bang on the zeitgeist, musically and visually. Part of a generation of young, production savvy musicians and songwriters. Their unique sound, reminiscent of Chet Faker, Parcels or Hozier’s first record makes Dextric definite ones to watch!
